WAX

Our technicians aim to protect the health and elasticity of the skin. The wax is applied warm, then removed gently, leaving the skin smooth. This refined technique is comfortable and result-oriented.

BEFORE WAXING

  • Exfoliate a few days before waxing

  • Grow hair to around a quarter-inch long, and don’t shave.

  • Take pain relievers if you need to.

  • Don’t do it on or near your period.

  • Use aloe or Aquaphor to soothe any irritation.

  • Bath or shower on the day of your appointment to open up follicles, allowing for easier hair removal.

  • Do not apply any deodorants, make-up, lotions, soaps, powders, perfumes or self-tanning products to the area to be waxed.

AFTERCARE

  • Don’t exfoliate, swim, or sunbathe for 48 hours afterward.

  • Avoid tight clothing.

  • Keep it up.  It really does get easier over time—you’ll get used to it and your hair will eventually come out easier and grow less thick and coarse

  • Sauna’s and steam rooms

  • Sunbathing, sunbeds or any sunlight and UV exposure.

  • Applying products to the waxed area such as deodorants, make-up, lotions, soaps, powders, perfumes, self-tanning products etc.
